Is strength training necessary for weight loss?

Question by FunkyGurl: Is strength training necessary for weight loss?
I’m 5’7 and weigh about 155lbs, trying to get down to 135 lbs, I know thats not thin but I just want to get healthy. Currently I am doing cardio for 1 hour about 6 imes a week, but I was wondering whether strength training is necessary for weight loss too.

If yes, what kind of regime should I follow? (weights, exercises?)

Also, should the strength training be done before or after cardio?

Thanks!

I don’t have the knowledge to answer your question, but I will say something which many people overlook; that is muscle weighs almost three times as much as fat, so building muscle can make it seem like you’re burning less fat than you actually are.

Inexpensive teen weight loss camps in the US?

Question by Julie Ann: Inexpensive teen weight loss camps in the US?
I’m thinking about going to a weight loss camp next summer. Honestly, they’re quite expensive and my family can’t afford $ 15,000 for two weeks. But who can nowadays? I was just wondering if there was anything less expensive that I could look into.

Those are essential to our body in order to eliminate harmful toxins. The best part about the vegan diet is that you no longer have to worry about calorie restrictions or low carbohydrate intake. What you eat naturally is low in unhealthy/processed carbohydrates. This takes the hassle out of dieting
