Question by Lolly: Can someone who had type 2 diabetes but got rid of it with diet and exercise, now suffer from hypoglycemia?
My friend was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes years ago, but lost 50 poiunds through ongoing diet and exercise and the doc said she basically doesn’t have it anymore. Then she started experiencing shakiness and other symptoms in between meals that goes away with food. The doctor said she is likely suffering from hypoglycemia.

Thoughts/feedback on this?

It is possible that your friend may be Hypoglecemic. But only your doctor can diagnose that. But your friend should check her blood sugar frequently with a Glucometer. That can show if the Type 2 Diabetes is still around. Just a suggestion.

I have read various posts on yahoo and seen that most people advice against any treadmill from icon, i.e .. nordictrack, weslo, proform .. saying they are not sturdy.. people have recommended horizon treadmills. so i found a place where they sell REFURBISHED treadmills by HORIZON at a reasonable price..

Any other suggestions for inexpensive STURDY treadmill models or companies?

Horizon does a good job on their factory seconds/refurbished units. In my experience they tend to be a little more reliable than the new units even because of how thorough their remanufacturing process is.

Definitely stay away from the Icon manufactured units (Proform, Weslo, Image, Nordic Track).
